We have lost today a brilliant and inspiring colleague, and even for several of us a very good friend.
Gilles was someone passionate, driven by the defense and the promotion of justice and democracy.
He opened our eyes about the need of strengthening the interactions between all stakeholders (civil society included) of complex projects such as those associated with radioactive waste management. He convinced us that such interactions could bring a plurality of views, enriching debates and, ultimately, improve trust and safety. This vision is at the earth of our SITEX.Network that Gilles contributed to develop. Gilles also contributed to incorporate this vision in several international projects, such as EURAD.
Gilles defended his vision with passion, driven by the strong desire to improve trust and safety.
